Le défi de cette année vise à identifier et soutenir des entrepreneurs Agrotechnologues exceptionnels qui s'attaquent à des défis agricoles cruciaux en Afrique de l'Ouest. <br><br>Dans le monde en évolution rapide de l'Agrotechnologie, l'innovation a besoin de conditions favorables pour s'épanouir. De nombreux entrepreneurs africains ont des visions audacieuses, mais ils ont souvent du mal à accéder aux ressources et aux réseaux nécessaires pour concrétiser leurs idées. MAC 2024 est là pour combler cette lacune; offrant aux startups la possibilité de « Find Your Soil » (Trouvez votre terre) en leur fournissant un soutien stratégique, un financement et un mentorat. <br><br>"Find Your Soil”(Trouvez votre Terre) est un appel à l'action pour les innovateurs Agrotechnologues afin qu'ils découvrent l'environnement idéal où leurs visions peuvent s'épanouir. Par le biais du MEST Africa challenge, nous visons à soutenir cet écosystème en fournissant les ressources nécessaires, et un soutien stratégique pour permettre à ces entrepreneurs de prospérer », a déclaré Ashwin Ravichandan, conseiller en gestion de portefeuille de MEST Africa. <br><br>MEST Africa s'engage à favoriser la création d'emplois et la croissance économique sur tout le continent par le biais de l'entrepreneuriat dans le domaine logiciel. En offrant une formation spécialisée en entrepreneuriat technologique et des opportunités d'investissement, l'organisation permet aux esprits les plus brillants d'Afrique de créer et de développer des entreprises à fort impact. <br><br> MEST Africa Challenge 2024, centré sur le secteur Agrotechnologique, est ouvert aux startups des principaux marchés d'Afrique de l'Ouest, notamment le Bénin, le Cap-Vert, la Côte d'Ivoire, la Gambie, le Ghana, la Guinée, la Guinée-Bissau, le Liberia, la Mauritanie, le Nigeria, le Sénégal, la Sierra Leone, le Mali et le Togo. La startup gagnante recevra 50 000 dollars en fonds propres et aura accès au vaste réseau mondial de MEST, ce qui lui permettra de nouer des partenariats précieux, de bénéficier de mentorat et d'opportunités d'investissement afin d'accélérer sa croissance et sa présence au niveau mondial. <br><br>Depuis sa création, MEST a investi plus de 30 millions de dollars dans la formation de plus de 2 000 entrepreneurs et a soutenu le lancement de 90 startups technologiques en phase de démarrage dans des secteurs tels que l' Agrotechnologie, FinTech, SaaS, eCommerce, Digital Media et Healthcare (Media Numerique et Soin de Santé) .
